Stamping by the Sea-Tybee Island: Step it Up Cardmaking Class

Duration: approximately 90 minutes

Please bring the following supplies for class if you can:

• Versafine Clair Nocturne ink pad OR Versafine Onyx Black ink pad OR Ranger Archival Jet Black ink pad
• microtip scissors for fussy cutting
• clear embossing powder
• heat tool
• non-stick/non-porous craft or glass mat
• foam tape or squares
• tape runner
• fine-tip wet glue

These supplies will also be used in class, but will be provided. If you have them it will help to bring them:

• Ranger Mica Stains: Flickering Candle & Cocktail Party
• Die cutting machine 
  
• Waterbrush for coloring images
• ZIG Writer black pen

These items will be provided for each student:

• watercolor cardstock
• white cardstock
• black cardstock
• card bases
• white crinkle seam binding ribbon

• Library Card stamp

We will create three cards, from simple to more involved, all using the same initial sprays application through a stencil. Class will include techniques such as die cutting, using sprays with stencils, stamping, mixed media layering, ribbon dyeing, and more.
